I am passionate about all the amazing and diverse creatures on this wonderful planet. I love photographing, drawing and simply observing them.
I grew up, in Australia, with parents who encouraged the inquisitive mind of a child. Instead of being told not to touch or to kill the bugs, slugs, butterflies, lizards and other creatures I came across, I was taught to be wary of dangerous ones and to be gentle with any I handled, returning them back into the environment they came from.
I would like to encourage you to take some time to notice these remarkable creatures and appreciate what each one does to contribute to our world as a whole, and to encourage your children to be fascinated by them all - from beautiful butterflies to slimy slugs.
